Second Mexican Long Term Power Auction Results
September 28, 2016
A total of 8.9 GWh, 9.27 million CELs and 1.18 GW of capacity where awarded in the 2nd Long Term Auction to 16 companies through ~30 different projects. The marginal price for energy and CELs was set at ~40.1 USD/MWh+CEL, while the average weighted price hit a new record at ~33,5 USD/MWh+CEL.
